Friday, Jan. 31, 8:00AM report: Old Road Trail, Lower Surveyor, Kelly Tie-In, Kelly Park all freshly groomed this morning. About ½" of really fluffy powder on the trail. 10 degrees, partly cloudy. The road is plowed, but snow-packed. If you want to ski on fresh fluffy powder, Surveyor Park and Tree Loop are good choices. If you want firmer and a bit faster skiing, Kelly Park and Old Road Trail are better. The CCC Pond bike path trail is groomed with a classic track, but the snow coverage isnt very deep. The trail is a bit narrow and skiers may encounter some grass and tops of brush still poking through the snow. The golf course is skimpy on snow still skiers should beware of the paved paths underneath the thin snow that can damage skis.
