Snow curl
Heavy, wet snow forms a curl as it slowly slides off a garage roof in Pinedale. This is unusual for our area. Typically the snow is like dry, loose sugar that can be swept off with a broom. Photo taken Wednesday, Feb. 12th. Photo by Dawn Ballou, Pinedale Online!

Snow curl

A series of storms has brought wet, heavy snow to the Upper Green River Valley. Usually our snow is dry and not-sticky, to the frustration of children who look at a yard full of snow and are not able to make a snowball to throw because it won’t stick together. The National Weather Service is forecasting more of this wet snow over the next couple of days, so now is the time for the kids to get that snowman or snow fort built for their epic snowball fight. We could see up to 10 more inches of new snow over the next couple of days on top of the two feet or more already on the ground in town in Pinedale.
