Community meeting on special health care needs March 18
March 16, 2014
The Wyoming Department of Health, Maternal and Child Health Unit is hosting a public meeting to get public input about health issues that impact women, infants, youth, and children with special health care needs in the community. Every five years, the Maternal and Child Health Unit at the Wyoming Department of Health completes a Needs Assessment. They are beginning the process for their 2016-2020 Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Needs Assessment for Wyoming.
The public is invited to a meeting to share thoughts on the health and needs of the MCH population (which includes mothers, women, children, adolescents, children and youth with special health care needs, and their families) in the community and the state. For example, what does health look like for moms, dads, babies, children, teens and children with special health care needs? This public will help identify the health priorities for families in Wyoming.
The Sublette County Community Meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 from 12:00 Noon until1:00PM in the Sublette County Public Health Office Meeting Room, 619 E. Hennick St in Pinedale. A light meal will be provided. Please RSVP to Nicole Beach at 307-777-6921 or MCHinfo@wyo.gov.
