RE: Workshop, Monday, March 24, 2014, 6 p.m., at the Daniel Community Center.
You are invited to a workshop, sponsored by Sublette County, to discuss issues related to high water concerns on the Green River from the WYDOT Bridge over HWY 354, to the Faler Creek inlet, and downstream to the Green River WYDOT Bridge on HWY 189.
This workshop will be held on Monday, March 24th at 6 p.m. at the Daniel Community Center.
The following issues will be discussed:
• Potential loss of the Faler Creek Bridge and the Green River Bridge on HWY 189, approximately ¾ mile north of Daniel, including impacts to health, safety, and law enforcement provided to the citizens of Sublette County.
• Development of plans to address potential risk of flooding in Daniel and the outlying community.
• Potential loss of points of diversion, due to migration of stream channels, affecting the ability of landowners to make use of their water rights on irrigated land.
Please feel free to forward this e-mail to anyone else you think should be involved.
John Andrikopoulos will be contacting the landowners involved.
