April 1, 2014
Tuesday, April 1, 8:30AM report: 26 degrees. Less than ½ inch of new snow from the day before yesterday on the upper trails. Kelly Park, Kelly tie-In, Upper and Lower Surveyor, Moose Ridge and Old Road Trail all freshly groomed this morning. Be cautious as there are several moose back in the area, including a cow with a calf. The trail closure to the new loop trail section where Kelly tie In trail meets Kelly Park if still in effect due to a couple more moose still hanging around in there. This is a difficult time for big game. If you encounter wildlife on the trail during your outings, please turn around and go a different direction and use a different trail so you dont disturb them. Should be good skiing today.
