Locals vie for election

With the opening of the filing period for candidates for political office in Sublette County last week, there was been a flurry of filings. The filing period for the primary election remains open through May 30. All candidates filing in Sublette County thus far have filed as Republicans.
For two Sublette County Commission seats: Joel Bousman of Boulder (incumbent) Andy Nelson of Pinedale (incumbent) John LaBuda of Pinedale Doug Vickrey of Daniel
Sublette County Clerk candidates: Mary Lankford of Pinedale (incumbent) Michelle Hosler of Pinedale EJ Koppenhafer of Boulder
Sublette County Treasurer candidates: Roxanna Jensen of Pinedale (incumbent) Delta McCormick of Pinedale
Sublette County Sheriff candidates: Dave Lankford of Pinedale (incumbent) Stephen Haskell of Big Piney Andrew "Mac" Mackenzie of Pinedale
Sublette County Coroner candidates: Curt Covill of Pinedale Eric Marincic of Cora
Sublette County Assessor candidate: Jeness Saxton of Pinedale (incumbent)
Clerk of District Court candidate: Janet K. Montgomery of Pinedale (incumbent)
Other offices State Representative Albert Sommers (District 20) has filed with the Wyoming Secretary of State seeking re-election. District 22 Representative Marti Halverson has also filed to seek re-election.
In addition to local party officials, these are the seats that will appear on the August 19th primary election ballot.
