The Sublette County Prevention Coalition along with integrated members of the community are collaborating June 2nd, from 1:00-3:00 PM at BOCES in Pinedale. Efforts are being made to lower prescription drug misuse in our community. In case you were not aware, the Office of National Drug Control Policy warns that "prescription drugs account for the second most commonly abused category of drugs... ahead of cocaine, heroin, methamphetamine, and other drugs." Misuse of prescription drugs and even veterinarian medicine happens more frequently than imagined in homes. And it affects everyone.

Dedicated members involved in prescription drug use will collaborate to provide efforts for the proper disposal of prescription drugs, discussion of what is being abused, what we can do in our community to recognize prescription drug misuse and much more.
