The Pinedale Library is hosting programs in October in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the signing of the Wilderness Act.
Thursday, October 2: #MyBrdger50 Photo Roundup Judging The top 20 photos from the summer’s #MyBridger50 Photo Roundup contest will be displayed at the library for public judging. Come in to view all of the photos, have some cake and vote for your 3 favorites. 6:30PM.
Thursday, October 16: Air Quality Monitoring talk Ted Porwoll, an Air Quality Technician for the Bridger-Teton National forest will speak on air quality and its impact on surface waters in the Bridger Teton area. 6:30PM.
Thursday, October 23: Bridger Wilderness History talk Bridger-Teton National Forest archaeologist Jamie Scheon and J.P. Scheupert will talk about the creation of the Bridger-Teton National Forest and the history of its land management and public use. 6:30PM.
