November 26, 2014
Wednesday, November 26, 10:30AM report: 8" of new, heavy, wet snow overnight. Blustery, still snowing a bit, but can see blue sky. 32 degrees. Kelly Park, Tree Loop, Surveyor Park, Moose Ridge, and Old Road Trail all groomed for classic and skating. Kelly Tie-In south of Lower Surveyor and Powerline have been flat groomed, but will likely be soft. Kelly Park or Tree Loop probably the best bet this morning because of the wind. Road plowed, but slick - drive cautiously. No services yet at White Pine, but the Warming Hut has a restroom. White Pine Ski Area has set a tentative opening date for Thursday, December 4, 2014, conditions allowing. Groomed the Golf Course this morning, but due to heavy wet snow it didn’t groom out very well. Will groom as needed over the Thanksgiving weekend.
