Sublette County Unified Fire holding contest to design its new logo
November 2, 2014
Sublette County Unified Fire is holding a competition to select a new official logo, and is offering $200.00 for the winning design. All community members are invited to participate by submitting your design proposals for the logo. The winning design will be included on documents, uniforms, vehicles, and other fire department property.
Everyone is encouraged to submit either a completed logo, or a design concept sketch. Members from Sublette County Unified Fire will judge the submissions to pick the winner. The winning design will be presented to the County Fire Warden for final approval in early December.
"We have been working hard to consolidate each of the six separate County and City Fire Departments into a single unified entity. This design contest is a big part of the unification efforts that allows for public input and involvement," said Shad Cooper, Sublette County Fire Warden. "To keep our costs down, the new logo will be used on our digital imagery, website, and stationary first. As costs allow, we’ll gradually add it to uniforms and vehicles as they are replaced or upgraded," added Cooper.
