Wednesday, December 3, 8:30AM report: No grooming above today, no new snow. Did put in a flat track on the golf course. It will be soft and very thin coverage – trail is marked with green pin flags. Editor’s note: White Pine Ski Area has set their tentative opening date set for Thursday, December 4th and will open up the Little Spirit lift to kick off the 2014-2015 ski season. There are still rocks and bare patches on the higher runs. They will monitor daily and open the Great Spirit lift as soon as the upper mountain conditions allow. There is a restroom available for cross-country skiers at the Nordic Warming Hut. For updates on the status of the ski area, call 307-367-6606 or go online to www.whitepineski.com.
