by Pinedale Online! December 21, 2014 In some arid countries, obtaining water is a significant challenge. The Smithsonian website has an article about a device being tested in Ethiopia, Africa, that collects condensation created from differences between day and nighttime temperatures to gather as much as 25 gallons of clean drinkable water per day from the air. The 30-foot tall device is called Warka Water, created by Arturo Vittori, an industrial designer, and his colleague Andreas Vogler. |
