CHEYENNE – For the first time ever qualified applicants can take the Wyoming game warden exam online. The Wyoming Game and Fish Department is inviting qualified applicants to register for the exam by June 23, 2015.
To qualify for the exam, applicants must have earned a bachelor’s degree in a wildlife-related field or be on track to earn the degree by Aug. 31, 2015, and possess a valid driver’s license. Interested individuals must submit the ‘Request to Take 2015 Game Warden Exam’ and a copy of college transcripts prior to registration.
"Wyoming’s game wardens are a crucial part of wildlife management. Their work includes law enforcement, biology and public outreach," Chief Game Warden Brian Nesvik said. "Offering the exam online makes it accessible to more applicants and is more efficient for Game and Fish."
Applicants who pass the exam and are selected for an interview will be required to complete a psychological assessment, polygraph and a job suitability profile.
