New Indoor Spring Soccer for youth in Pinedale
Register now for games in April and May
February 15, 2015
There is already a successful Pinedale Soccer Association in Pinedale, outdoor soccer fields maintained by the town of Pinedale, a varsity girls’ and boys’ soccer team at Pinedale High School and an indoor (ice) arena owned by Sublette County. Put all these resources and expertise together and you get the **NEW** Spring Soccer in Pinedale program! The Town of Pinedale stepped up to say, "we’ll do whatever it takes…form a steering committee, get volunteer coaches, provide scholarships…;" the Soccer Association that said, "you can become part of our association, and we’ll run online registration;" SCSD#1 who said, "yes, some of our athletes may be able to be volunteer coaches & get some volunteer hours….;" and the Sublette County Scheduling Director who said, "I will talk to the County Commissioners and the Ice Arena managers about the open time slots once the ice is off, and reserve dates for you…." PAC said, "we’ll advertise!" QEP is a generous sponsor. Once again, collaboration results in something greater than any one partner could produce alone! Spring soccer is available to boys and girls ages 3-13. Age 14+ also available. Play will be Monday through Thursday evenings from April 20 to May 28, 2015 at the Sublette County Ice Arena in Pinedale. Cost is $25/player. Equipment needed is tennis shoes (no cleats), shin guards, and soccer ball.
Registration open now. Go online to www.pinedalesoccer.com and click on Spring Soccer Registration. Follow the directions from there. Please register by April 17th to ensure your spot.
