Brown Bag Lunch talks at the Pinedale Library
Talks on conservation and preserving open spaces

Lovin’ the Land, a "bring your own lunch" educational series, will be held the second Wednesday of each month at the Sublette County Library in Pinedale.
Wednesday, March 11the speaker will be Steve Kilpatrick, Executive Director of the Wyoming Wildlife Federation. He will be sharing the latest news on collaborative efforts to protect the Red Desert to Hoback Mule Deer Migration Route, why that is so important, and how we can help.
Guest for Wednesday, April 8 will be Susan Patla, Wyoming Game & Fish nongame biologist. Susan was the 2014 recipient of the Craighead Conservation Award for dedication to conservation. She is well known for her work with trumpeter swans, bald eagles, peregrine falcons, harlequin ducks and wetland conservation efforts. Susan will update us on the impressive recovery of trumpeter swans and continuing efforts in the Upper Green.
The third brown bag lunch date is scheduled for May 13 – speaker to be determined.
The Green River Valley Land Trust’s mission is "to assist landowning families of Sublette County in the conservation of agricultural and ranch and natural lands, to protect open spaces, watersheds, wildlife habitat and other ecological values for the benefit of today’s inhabitants and as a legacy for future generations." The Trust currently holds 57 easements, conserving 31,935 acres.
