Saturday, March 14, 10:00AM report: Groomed from Nordic building to Kelly Park, through Kelly Park, Kelly Tie-In, west side of Lower Surveyor, Tree Loop, perimeter of Upper Surveyor. CCC Ponds were flat groomed. Snow getting somewhat marginal at CCC Ponds and Golf Course. Crust skiing now getting good on Golf Course, for those who dont want to stay on the trail. For those who go off-trail, please be alert for wildlife in the area and do not disturb them keep your distance. Also, no horn hunting allowed until after May 1st. Some of the trails are starting to break down a bit due to warmer conditions and use by people walking. Trails a bit icy in the mornings and slushy in the afternoons. Have had some problem with people starting to drive on some of the trails and doing damage. No motorized vehicles are allowed on the ski trails. Will have to stop grooming the CCC trails after March 15th due to wildlife migration restrictions by federal land management agencies.
