Dr. Robert Field: ‘Wintertime Ozone in Major Basins of the Green River Formation’

Dr. Robert Field will give a talk on ‘Wintertime ozone in major basins of the Green River Formation’ at 7:00PM on Wednesday, April 8th in the Lovatt Room of the Pinedale Library. There will be a reception prior to the talk from 6-7PM. Dr. Field is a researcher at the University of Wyoming. He established the first mobile laboratory to be used for air quality monitoring in Wyoming. He managed the ozone air quality monitoring project from 2008 to 2010, which helped to define the scope of winter-time ozone episodes in the Upper Green River Basin. He will speak about his recent publications, current methods, plume quantification research, and the lack of ozone since 2011 in the Upper Green River Basin. He will compare data from Sublette County to the Uintah Basin.
