August 5, 2015
NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING: The Town of Pinedale, Wyoming, will conduct a public meeting at 7:00pm, local time, on August 24, 2015, in the Pinedale Town Hall. The purpose of the meeting is to allow citizens to review and comment on the following project(s). Hennick St Area Infrastructure Rehabilitation project. The project will replace approximately 4,200 lineal feet of 4-inch and 6-inch cast iron waterlines. These existing waterlines are 50 years and older. Old clay pipe sewer lines will also be replaced with new PVC. In addition, the Town will perform upgrades to the streets similar to prior infrastructure projects. Benefits include: more uniform water pressures, increased water quality, decreased maintenance of the distribution system, increased flow capacity, decreased service disruptions for affected customers, and improved public health and safety.
The Town of Pinedale intends to use funds from the Wyoming Drinking Water State Revolving Loan Fund administered by the Wyoming Office of State Lands and Investments. The Town of Pinedale will present the preliminary design of the proposed project and discuss the estimated cost of the improvements. Based on current estimates, the Town of Pinedale plans to borrow $1,500,000 from the Wyoming Drinking Water State Revolving Loan Fund. Increased user fees and Town reserves will repay the loan. A preliminary plan of improvements and estimates can be reviewed at the Town of Pinedale. Contact Hayley Ryckman at 307-367-4136.
Written comments are also welcome and must be received by 5:00pm on August 24, 2015. Send written comments to Town of Pinedale, PO Box 709, Pinedale, WY 82941.
