Farmers kidnap officials in wolf dispute

The Telegraph (United Kingdom) reports that a group of French farmers have kidnapped two national park officials in the Alps, demanding the officials take action to stop wolves from killing their livestock.
According to The Telegraph, "bossnapping" is not unheard of in France, but this is reportedly the first instance an official has been held over a dispute involving wolves.
Wolves have reportedly killed 8,500 sheep in France in the last year, as well as six sheep guardian dogs. To learn more, check out the links below.
