Night-time fire at Express Auto Care in Pinedale

A fire broke out at Express Auto Care in downtown Pinedale around 9PM on Tuesday night (Dec. 1, 2015).
Preliminary reports are that the fire appeared to have started in an oil heater in the garage. One witness said flames were visible coming out of the roof of the building for about 15 minutes before firefighters.
By about 11PM firefighters had the fire under control and crews were doing mop up. Temperature at the time of the fire was a very frigid 7F degrees. Firefighters from Sublette County Unified Fire, Pinedale, Daniel and Boulder batallions, along with Sublette County Sheriff’s Office and EMS responded to the fire.
As of the time of this report (midnight) there were no reports of any injuries in the incident. The extent of the damage is not known as of the time of this report or whether the fire impacted the Patio Grill restaurant adjacent to the east or the building adjacent to the south.
