Local ranchers Randy Bolgiano and Chad Espenscheid were recently appointed by Wyoming Governor Matt Mead to serve on the Upper Colorado River Commission. The Commission assists the Upper Division States in developing their apportionments of water from the Colorado River drainage. Bolgiano of Boulder was named as an alternate commissioner.

Chad Espenscheid of Big Piney was appointed to serve as one of three Wyoming representatives on the Colorado River Basin Salinity Control Forum which works to coordinate salinity control efforts among the states to reduce the salt loading to the Colorado River.
