Judge Jeffrey A. Donnell heard oral arguments at the District Court in Laramie Monday afternoon (Jan. 25, 2016) in the civil case of the Motion of Summary Judgment filed by Sublette County Clerk Mary Lankford in response to the August, 2015 filing of the petition for a Writ of Mandamus by Sheriff Stephen Haskell against Lankford. The courtroom proceedings were linked and televised live into the District Court courtroom in Pinedale. The Pinedale audience could see the Laramie courtroom live and the Laramie courtroom could see the Pinedale District courtroom live. County Clerk Lankford was in the Laramie courtroom. Sheriff Haskell was in the Pinedale courtroom watching his attorney who was in Laramie. Attorneys for both sides were given 30 minutes each to present their arguments in the case to the Judge. In the end, no ruling was made and Judge Donnell said he would consider the arguments and get back with everyone with a decision.
