Obamacare enrollment deadline Jan. 31- $695/person penalty for not signing up
Some still don’t know, some don’t care, some are conscientious objectors
January 28, 2016
Sunday, January 31, 2016, is the government’s deadline to force Americans to sign up for an Obamacare-approved health insurance plan. If you don’t sign up, there’s a $695 per person or 2.5% of household income fine. Some people don’t know about the approaching deadline, some people don’t care and aren’t bothering to find out anything about it, and others are deliberately refusing as an objection to Obamacare. The penalty is taken out of your tax refund. Wherever you stand on it, we’re giving you your reminder notice that Sunday is an upcoming deadline and the financial consequences for not signing up for a plan are much higher in 2016.
