Feb. 26, 2016 quake Felt it

A 4.0 tremor occurred in western Wyoming around 4:00PM on Friday, February 26th. According to the USGS, the tremor originated about 19 miles east of Jackson, Wyoming. It was located at a depth of about 5km. A USGS "did you feel it" internet map indicates people reported feeling it in the Jackson and Teton Park area, eastern Idaho, the Bondurant and Daniel areas, and Lander and south Lander area east of the Wind River Mountains. A report we received from a resident near Bondurant said the main jolt lasted about 10 seconds and a rolling motion lasted another 15-20 seconds. They remarked that their home did not appear to sustain any damage but the tremor seemed to be the most notable since they have lived in their home northeast of Bondurant.
