3/11/16: Last Saturday (March 5th) while riding along near the Burnt Lake Road, my husband and I saw our first 3 bluebirds off the season.

3/5/16: Geese yesterday and sandhill cranes today up on Beaver. Blue birds in Daniel today also.

3/4/16: Just saw my first mountain bluebird this afternoon. Have been hearing blackbirds this past week as well; both in Pole Creek Road area. Spring signs!

2/29/16: I heard a robin in Shelter Park on Sunday (2/28/16) and spotted about 40 geese just north of Big Sandy Reservoir on Saturday. Not sure where they were headed as the river is still frozen.
