At approximately 8:45 p.m. on Thursday, March 17, the Sublette County Sheriff’s Office received a call of an unresponsive male subject at an address in Pinedale. Deputies and EMS immediately responded to the residence where they located the body of 74-year-old Samuel Sharp. Preliminary investigation by SCSO deputies indicates the cause of death to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

The Sublette County Sheriff’s Office extends their deepest condolences to the friends and family of the deceased.
