Getting ready for the Derby
March 4, 2016

David Labriola and Steven Eldridge left the 60 mph winds in Cheyenne and arrived at a calm 51 degree Friday evening on Fremont Lake. In 59 seconds with a hand auger Steven drilled thru 22 inches of ice a hundred yards off Sandy Beach. They baited hooks with salmon eggs and in 5 minutes a bobber was jumping. The Pinedale Boat Club will be hosting their annual Big Fish Winter Derby this Saturday and Sunday.
