Arnold Brokling spotted this American Kestrel (the smallest Falcon in North America) overlooking a hillside close to town on Saturday, April 23rd. "It would occasionally take flight, look for prey while hovering, then return to the same perch."

Arnie also went up to Fremont on Saturday and found that the ice is almost off.
