Spring is here, well correction the Wyoming spring is here, and that means you can finally come out of winter hibernation, pack up your down coats, and start preparing for your summer projects and activities.
It is now safe to stop bleeding your water, however if you have had issues with freezing lines in the past or have a shallow water line you might want to keep bleeding for another week or so.
Now that construction season is upon us, please stay clear of construction and plan for detours along Hennick Street and west of the PAC and BOCES. Drivers, the speed limit is 25 on Pine Street and 20 miles per hour on side street, with more bikers and pedestrians out enjoying the warm weather, let's keep the streets safe by abiding to the speed limit and traffic laws.
If you do have a summer project in mind, such as a home renovation, expansion, or fence installation, verify with the Town prior to construction to see if a permit is required and be sure to call 811 before you dig. If you are interested in reserving the gazebo at the American Legion Park or Dudley Key Fields, you can view availability on the Town website's calendar and contact the Town Hall at 307-367-4136 to book your event in advance.
