Flag Half Staff notice – For victims of attack in Nice, France

Governor Matthew H. Mead, pursuant to President Barack Obama's Proclamation, has ordered both the U.S. flag and the State of Wyoming flag be flown at half-staff statewide beginning today until sunset on July 19, 2016 as a mark of respect for the victims of the attack on July 14, 2016 in Nice, France. __________________________________________
Note: A man used a large truck to plow through crowds of people gathered to watch Bastille Day fireworks on Thursday, July 14th killing 84 people and injured at least 202. The man also shot into the crowd. He was ultimately killed by police, but not before mowing down people for a distance of about a mile. Firearms, explosives and grenades were found in the vehicle.
