The Pinedale Fine Arts Council (PFAC) is proud to kick off the 9th annual Soundcheck Summer Music Series on Monday July 4th at American Legion Park in Pinedale. Headlining the July 4th show will be Ten Sleep’s JalanCrossland Band (7pm) performing at a 3-piece. Opening the show will be Olympia, WA-based banjo duo The Lowest Pair (5:30 pm). Admission is free and this particular show will coincide with The Town of Pinedale’s Annual July 4th Celebration which features a whole afternoon of fun kids events, a free community potluck picnic and of course the famous Pinedale fireworks show when the sun goes down!
JalanCrossland is an "endemic Wyoming treasure." He is widely acclaimed by audiences, critics, and his musical peers as being a premier acoustic guitarist, as well as banjo player, singer-songwriter, and engaging showman. This past spring Jalan opened for Austin, TX superstar Shakey Graves and this August Jalan will open for wildly popular country duo Shovels & Rope!
So come on out to Legion Park July 4th for some amazing free food, fun times, fireworks and most importantly a whole family friendly evening of great live music!
And remember this is just the first of 4 awesome music events planned by PFAC throughout the summer.
The Soundcheck Summer Music Series is presented by the Pinedale Fine Arts Council with support from the Town of Pinedale. Visit our website at pinedalefinarts.com for more details and be sure to friend us on facebook!
