Pinedale 4th of July Celebration
by Town of Pinedale
July 2, 2016
Don’t forget to come celebrate the 4th of July at American Legion Park this Monday. As with any large fun event, a little bit of preplanning is required. Here at the Town we are coordinating with other local agencies to ensure the best possible 4th of July Town Picnic. To that end, we have some road and parking issues that we would like everyone to please be aware of, and pay careful attention to.
Madison Avenue will be closed between Hoback & Bonneville Streets Monday July 4th from 12 PM till 10 PM. Please remove all vehicles, boats, and other items from the street prior to 12 PM on the 4th of July.
Parking at the corner of Hoback & Madison will be very limited and is being set aside for individuals who have special needs such as wheel chairs or walkers. Note that there will be no parking at the Ball Field from 12 PM – 11PM to allow for a safe fireworks show.
Please slow down while driving through town, as no one wants this wonderful weekend marred by an accident.
The schedule is: 3:00 PM Dummy roping, kids crafts, face painting, as well as, stick horse, and sack races start.
4:00 PM The hot dogs and hamburgers start coming off the grill (remember to bring a dish to share) The Pinedale Fine Arts Council will be offering drinks for sale.
5:00 PM JalanCrossland Band starts the music!
Fireworks: After the lights go down - the fireworks will blast off from the Ball Fields. There will be no parking up at the ball fields this year.
See you on the fourth of July as we celebrate our Country’s Independence Pinedale style!
The sun will be shining, the food will be great, and the music rockin’! So come down to the American Legion Park and enjoy the day. We’ll see you there; Monday the 4th of July.
