Monday, July 11: A few inches of snow possible in the higher elevations of the mountains of western Wyoming this morning above 8,000 feet. Breezy conditions with gusts as high as 25mph. Mostly sunny, high near 62F. Overnight low near 34F. Isolated afternoon thunderstorms could bring some lightning and thunder.

Longer range forecast through rest of the week through July 17:
Mostly sunny during the days. The morning hours will have the calmer and clearer weather, then afternoon clouds and thunderstorms will build up. Breezy with some stronger winds around thunderstorms. Take cover in sturdy shelter if thunderstorms approach and do not get caught out on open water. If you hear thunder, take cover to protect from lightning, heavy downburst rains, and possible hail during thunderstorms. Nighttime lows in the high 30s to low 40sF. Outdoor recreationists should have clothing to layer for variable weather. Have sunscreen, hat and lip protection – we are high elevation and skin can sunburn very quickly when outside. Please be very careful with any campfires or outdoor burning – Fire Danger on the Bridger-Teton National Forest is rated High.
