Wildfire updates – July 28

Thursday, July 28, 12:30PM: Cliff Creek Fire is located 5 miles north of Bondurant. It is at 23, 995 acres, 15% contained. US 191/189 through Hoback Canyon is open, but no stopping or passing allowed in the area of the fire. The Granite Creek drainage is still closed due to the fire. The Lava Mountain Fire is located northwest of Dubois. It is at 12,169 acres, 0% contained. Numerous evacuation orders are in effect. No structures have been lost to date. The Continental Divide Trail is closed from Sheridan Pass to Pilot Knob. There will be a community meeting tonight (Thursday, July 28) at 7 pm in the large gym at the new Dubois High School located at 700 North First St. in Dubois.
