Saturday, August 27, 10:30PM: The South Gate of Yellowstone National Park remains closed due to the Berry wildfire. Highway 89/191/287 is temporarily closed from Leeks Marina to the South Gate of the Park. The road is not expected to open this weekend. Both Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Park are open to visitors using alternate gateways.

The Berry Fire is being managed for ecological benefits. Visitors may encounter smoky conditions impacting visibility as well as breathing for sensitive individuals. Check for current status of your planned route before you go.
