Hardhats & Stetsons The 2016 Hardhats & Stetsons Cowboy Poetry & Dessert Auction was held on Saturday, Sept. 17th at the Boulder Community Center. The annual event is a fundraiser for the Green River Valley Museum in Big Piney.

The Green River Valley Museum in Big Piney held their annual Hardhats & Stetsons Cowboy Poetry and Dessert Auction on Saturday, Sept. 17th at the Boulder Community Center. Special guests were singer Brenn Hill and Cowboy Poet Andy Nelson. After the entertainment, home-made cakes and desserts were auctioned off. The event is a fundraiser for the Museum. This event was partially sponsored by the Wyoming Arts Council.

Brenn Hill & Andy Nelson Singer Brenn Hill and Cowboy Poet Andy Nelson returned to provide the evening's entertainment.	Desserts Friends of the Green River Valley Museum brought home-made desserts for the auction. Some went as high as $200.	Carmel Apples Carmel Apples and Divinity by Sweet Nothings.
Sugar Cookies by Joan Joan Mitchell contributed home-made sugar cookies and Holly Dansen made cupcakes.	Smores Cake By Suzy Michnevich	Fudge and Cupcakes Fudge brought by Toni David and lemon zucchini cupcakes by Terrie Springman.
Tomatoe Pies Serve hot or cold!	100 year old saddle On Display: This saddle was made before Wyoming was granted statehood. Frank Springman, Bob Springman Sr's father, owned it in Cheyenne. Donated to the GRVM by Bob and Wilda Springman.	Solar array The Boulder Community Center was restored several years ago and part of the grant project included adding a solar collection array outside to help offset the electricity costs of the building.
