(Pinedale, Wyo. – December 5, 2016) At 1423 hrs. Lower Valley Energy of Teton County experienced a gas leak at their Compressor Station on Hwy 191 just south of the Rim at mp 126.5. The gas found an ignition source in the dehy and part of that dehy protective structure was compromised. All gas valving has been shut down pending further thorough inspection.
As soon as proper equipment arrives, the debris will be moved and the inspection completed.
Per Lower Valley Representatives; Jackson has about a 2 day reserve of LNG to use in cases just as this when supply is interrupted.
Again no injuries sustained in this incident. Please drive carefully as roads in this area are snow packed and slick.
