I-80 west of Laramie closed due to truck blowovers

Tuesday, Dec. 20, 9:06AM road report update: Westbound Interstate 80, West of Laramie is closed to Walcott due to multiple tractor-trailer blow overs that occurred earlier today. At least five tractor-trailers have been blown over and are blocking the lanes of travel. The road was closed to light, high-profile vehicles at the time of the incidents. Wind speeds exceeding 60 miles per hour have been reported in areas between Laramie and Walcott. US30 from Laramie to Walcott is also closing due to high winds.
The Wyoming Department of Transportation is working as quickly as possible to assist the Wyoming Highway Patrol in clearing the vehicles from the travel lanes. Visit www.wyoroad.info for up to date road and travel information.
