Weather update, Thursday, Dec. 8, 7:15AM:
Temperature is -22.9F degrees in Pinedale, -15 in Big Piney at this time.
Temperatures will ‘warm’ as another storm approaches this afternoon, reaching the 20Fs and 30Fs. A Winter Storm Warning in effect from 3PM today to noon Saturday. Significant snowfall and strong winds expected for the Upper Green River Valley, 8 inches snow for Pinedale, 15 inches possible in Bondurant. Snow will start late this afternoon and may become heavy at times overnight through Saturday morning with one final burst around mid-day Saturday. Blowing and drifting snow may create travel difficulties and limited visibility, especially over mountain passes.
