This was the view of WYO 28 the highway going over South Pass early Friday afternoon. The road has been closed for most of the morning due to a winter storm that is expected to drop as much as 24 inches of new snow in the mountains. Snowfall will stop this evening as an Arctic front moves in causing temperatures to plummet into the negative numbers and making road conditions hazardous for travel.
