Extreme Avalanche Danger in mountains of western Wyoming

WARNING EFFECTIVE JAN 11, 2017 5:00 AM EXPIRING ON JAN 12, 2017 5:00 AM Affected areas: Northwest Wyoming including Yellowstone National Park, Togwotee Pass Area and the following ranges...Teton, Snake River, Salt River, Wyoming, west slope of the Wind Rivers. Mountainous areas of southeast Idaho including the Webster, Preuss, Caribou, Snake River and Big Hole Ranges.
Reason: Heavy snowfall and strong winds have created very dangerous avalanche conditions. Very large and destructive avalanches are certain in many areas.
Precautions: AVOID ALL AVALANCHE TERRAIN AVALANCHES MAY RUN LONG DISTANCES AND CAN RUN INTO MATURE FORESTS, VALLEY FLOORS OR FLAT TERRAIN. SIMILAR AVALANCHE HAZARDS MAY EXIST AT LOCATIONS OUTSIDE THE COVERAGE AREA OF THIS OR ANY OTHER AVALANCHE CENTER.
