Weather Update, Monday, March 20, 2017, 7:35AM: FLOOD WATCH TODAY for Upper Green River Basin including Pinedale, Big Piney, LaBarge and Farson. Significant low elevation snowmelt through today due to warm temperatures and recent rain. Flooding of smaller streams, culverts, and other low lying areas possible. People living in flood prone areas across the valleys of western Wyoming should begin preparing for rising water across low lying areas such as drainage ditches, bridges, and basements. Chance of rain/snow mixed weather, and possible thunderstorms, this week with daytime temps in the high 40Fs and nighttime lows in the 20Fs. EMPTY SANDBAGS AND PILED LOOSE SAND are available at 321 S Sublette in Pinedale and on the east side of the Marbleton Town Hall. Inside the garbage can by the sand piles is a sign out sheet; please give name/date, address, phone number and the number of bags you have filled and taken.
