Local gardeners can take your used ranch lick tubs
May 2, 2017
Ranchers (local in Sublette County): If you have a bunch of lick tubs you’d like to get rid of, local area gardeners can use them for their gardening purposes. They started picking up this past weekend around the Pinedale area and will have a trip or two to the Big Piney/Marbleton area as well. If you are in the Sublette County area and would like to get rid of some of your empty lick tubs, please call Arlinda McLaughlin so she can arrange to pick them up, 307-367-2791. Old lick tubs can be used for growing strawberries, raspberries, all types of vegetables, herbs, and flowers. They are also great for storing materials for the compost pile. Remember to drill lots of ˝ inch holes in the bottom and up the sides near the bottom for drainage. Members of the local Sage & Snow Garden Club thank the local ranchers who have contributed tubs as well as helped with the pick-up gathering and delivery effort.
