Pictured here is road damage in the Snake River Canyon about 2 miles west of Hoback Junction in northwest Wyoming on Highway 89 headed towards Alpine. Photo taken on Sunday, May 7th. There are also places near Bondurant where the Hoback River is very high near US 191 in the Hoback Canyon. High water runoff has only just begun in western Wyoming. With this past winter’s record snowfall, there is still a lot of snow melt water that will be coming down over the next several weeks.
