The first annual Men’s Health and Safety Expo is a special evening dedicated to Sublette County men, complete with education, resources, and physician’s advice.
Sublette County Rural Health Care District’s (RHCD) Medical Directors, Dr. Brendan Fitzsimmons and Dr. David Kapperman along with Physician’s Assistant, Brian Barton, will be available to answer anonymous questions for the "Ask a Doc" panel discussion at 6:30pm. Additionally, RHCD’s team members will be available to discuss with men who don’t have a regular source of health care about the district’s family health and urgent care services available at the Marbleton and Pinedale Medical Clinics.
The event runs 5 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 28 at the Sublette County Library’s Lovatt Room in Pinedale. The evening will include Sublette County Rural Health Care District, Wyoming Cancer Resource Services, Southwest Counseng, Proactive Rehabilitation, Sublette County Public Health, and county wide health and safety information groups who have come together for Men’s Health Month to raise awareness of the health and safety resources and services available to the men of Sublette County.
Free smoked pork sandwiches and coleslaw for men and their guests will be available along with a chance to win over $2,000 in grand prizes and giveaways. For vendor information follow @menshealthxpo on Facebook or contact event organizer, Amanda Key at (307) 367-0018.
