Grizzly delisting set for July 31, 2017

The final rule for grizzly bear delisting in the Greater Yellowstone region was published in the Federal Register on Friday, June 30 and is set to take effect on July 31, 2017. The rule removes the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem population of grizzly bears from the federal let of endangered and threatened wildlife, and returns the species to state management.
