Land Trust Annual Community Picnic July 15

The Green River Valley Program of the Jackson Hole Land Trust (JHLT) will be hosting its Annual Community Picnic on Saturday, July 15, 2017 from 11:30AM to 2:30PM.
This year’s picnic will be hosted at Mountain Springs Ranch located east of Boulder, Wyoming. The Morris family has donated two easements on this property adjacent to the Scab Creek Wilderness Study Area and the popular Scab Creek Trailhead into the Bridger-Teton National Forest. The picnic is an opportunity to gather and celebrate the partnerships that protect wide open spaces in western Wyoming.

There will be live music by Jared Rogerson and band. Family-friendly activities around the ranch will include a Native and invasive plant walk with local experts, pond fishing and exploration with special guests, partner booths, and kids activities. Casual dress and ranch appropriate footwear is advised. Tickets are $30 for adults. Children 12 & under are free. Reserve tickets by June 30 by calling the Green River Valley Program office at 307-367-7007.
