Federal Livestock Grazing Permits talk in Pinedale August 9
Rights, Privileges and Protecting Your Ranch
by Wyoming Stock Growers Association
July 26, 2017
Examine the history of the current system of grazing on BLM and USFS lands. We will discuss your rights as a permit holder, review the process for protests and appeals of permits and will also include a focus on the value of creating strong working relationships with local agency personnel and governments. Cody Doig, an attorney with Brooks and Associates in Denver, CO., will also address the growing theory that ranchers have a vested and compensable property right in grazing allotments. These meetings will be held in Pinedale, Wyoming on August 9 at 7:00 PM in the Hampton Inn and in Riverton, Wyoming on August 10 at 7:00 PM in the Holiday Inn. Meetings are sponsored by Wyoming Stock Growers Association (WSGA) and Wyoming Wool Growers Association (WWGA). For additional information please call the WSGA office at (307) 638-3942.
