Fishing Report – July 11, 2017

Green River: The Green is still very high and off color below Warren bridge. Fishing is decent through the campground sections and getting some dry fly action. We are probably 10 days out from most of this river fishing well. Streamers and big stonefly nymphs are best.
New Fork: The New Fork is seeing a lot of boats and pressure, due to the water levels on the Green. Please be mindful of other boats and give each other a little room. Fish are still looking up in the afternoon, but water temps are pushing 70 degrees on some sections so play the fish quickly and keep them in the water when releasing them. Drakes are out and have been for a week or more. We should see a decline in the drakes in the next few weeks. Stoneflys are on the water and fish are eating them too! Streamer fishing is always good when the fish playing hard to get!
