If you like to dry fly fish- we got it! Fishing in Pinedale this year has been great, and continues to produce great fish. Our rivers and streams are starting to drop in a big way and almost all sections above 351 highway are fishable.
Green River: The Green is looking like her old self finally. The banks can be found and the runs and pools are starting to take shape. The boat traffic has slowed down a little too. We are always glad when the Snake River becomes fishable so we don't have so many boats in our area. The bugs for the Green River really change with the section you pick! Hatches are drakes, sallys, PMDs, caddis and golden stones. We have been using hoppers too. Streamer fishing can be great on any giving day.
New Fork: The New Fork is fishing okay- The water temp is getting into the 70's on hot days and the fishing can be hard with the sun is bright. The higher sections of the New Fork are still fishing good and the hatches are golden stones and sallys. Look to fish hard to the banks and do a little headhunting when you see rising fish!
